Spaghetti Napolitan (ナポリタン) is a Japanese comfort classic, made with sausage, bell peppers, and onions in a ketchup-based sauce. This version uses Brami protein pasta for a modern twist — higher protein, lower carbs, but still full of nostalgic flavor.

Servings: 2

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 180 g Brami protein pasta (about 90 g per serving)

  • 2 sausages, sliced on the bias

  • ½ onion, thinly sliced

  • ½ green bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 2 Tbsp ketchup

  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste (optional, for depth)

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta – Boil Brami pasta until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water.

  2. Cook sausage & vegetables – Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add sliced sausage, onion, and bell pepper. Sauté until lightly browned and tender.

  3. Make the sauce – Stir in ketchup and tomato paste. Add a splash of pasta water to help it coat evenly.

  4. Combine – Toss the drained pasta into the sauce. Finish with butter, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve – Plate high for visual impact and finish with a crack of fresh black pepper.
